Lakeside57pts  Eagles 36pts    On a disappointing night for the Eagles good to see that Ricky Kling was the highest scoring reserve in the meeting 7+2

I dont think Davey is too bad, he almost high sided in heat one and did well to stay on the bike but pulled out of the race. He then went out for his second but said he could feel his grion muscle starting to pull and felt a burning sensation so took the advice and pulled out of the meeting in what I think was a wise move to prevent any more damage ....

Dont let that fool you! He was way off the pace in his early rides and looked like he was holding up people in others. Did pick up toward the end of the meeting but not a great performance from his 7 rides!

Other than that a dismal night all round. 50 minutes to get from the dartford tunnel exit to the track Shocked  Twisted Evil  then Davey injuring himself in heat 1, the arctic conditions you always get at lakeside, the ref having a mare (Mear was already falling when Cam had nowhere to go and hit him and got excluded! then Richardson looked at Lewis comming through for a 5-1 and put his bike down for all 4 back!) plus the slickest of tracks providing zero entertainment! While the promotion seem to be doing a good job there with offers and promotions etc I'm glad I don't have to get my weekly speedway fix there!
