attendance 1,300 - see what happens if we all pull together . new or returning fans will surely want to continue seeing matches that we have had at arlington this season .it is about getting them there initially .as posted my better half now attends with me regularly too .
Indeed, which is why so many of us have been banging on now for ages about the promotion of the club to the annoyance of some.
1300 for the Ippo match is certainly more than I was expecting for this fixture especially as we were missing 2 riders and the Argus didn't run a preview on Friday but maybe the little promotion the club is doing paid off! I'd be interested to hear how many discount vouchers were used this week and how many paid full price but it shows that a little promotion of the club will go a long way, fingers crossed a bit more is done when the decent weather arrives. _________________ Check out my Pic's site. I think also what hasn't helped this season is the fewer number of oppostion supporters travelling down, it isn't just fewer home supporters. Ipswich brought a few on saturday, unfortunately some were not too pleasant but at least they put money in the coffers.
probably right sas , how many teams are strong enough to encourage their fans to follow them down to the west coast , and how much will it cost them ? how many of our fans can and will travel north ?!
A good attendance for last Saturday's meeting, but how many will opt out on the Monday against Swindon. I know fans who have said, "I will stay at home and watch it on television". Those that work may find it difficult to get to the track, but those that have retired should have no problem. _________________ Supporting the Eagles through the good times as well as the bad

Yes that will be interesting. I haven't decided 1 way or the other yet, I normally give sky meetings a miss for a few of those reasons but I will probably make the effort to go to this one as I still have a discount voucher I don't think the lucky programmes will draw the crowds in and I do think the promotion should be doing more for this meeting but will be interesting to see the turn out for a top team on an off night. _________________ Check out my Pic's site. the retired would have no problems attending sky meetings on mondays if they live a few minutes from the track as you do aussie2. petrol money ,2 lots of £ 13 , time and trouble driving down with traffic congestion of those returning from work , unlike saturday nites . drive takes an extra half hour .one ot the reasons no season ticket this year , why throw money away . there are many in our position , and you are not one of them .
I am a pensioner but not retired as I have nine more years to pay my mortgage ! My journey from Broadstairs is between two and two and a half hours each way and would be increased on a Monday and add petrol to that and there is no way I could afford it including loss of earnings by leaving the office early. _________________ click here for the latest front page news

And I thought you posted in response to one by sas that you and your wife attended regularly now Theres no meeting this coming Saturday so just leave home early on Monday drive without racing the engine so as to save fuel, spend the afternoon on the promenade, and then come inland for the meeting, Misses will love it _________________ A Founder Member of the Home Straight Lukas Dryml Appreciation Society!
Well, if its a nice evening, I may make this Monday my first meeting this year. Nobody came dropping vouchers round Biddenden (Surprise, surprise!) so I'll just have to stump up the OAP fee. If I bosh it on the credit card it puts payment off until next month ! Will be nice to see Lee Adams again, but would also be nice to see Swindon turned over. Pretty good chance of that, I would think.
I don't have any moans and groans as the team is doing well and Dugard is trying plus he has a multi million pound multinational company to run.
All I will say addressing the attendance which is quite low compared to other EL teams, the price is quite high, not as high as football matches yet but it is rapidly catching up (not Premier matches). It's the adult prices that need to do offers on as juniors rely on their parents to take them.
parker , regularly means often but not always , explained that when i said i , amongst others , have this season not bought a season ticket . surely you still haven't been to specsavers . probably coz you are unable to look up or read their address . does that mean you are making a spectacle of yourself ?! relax dear , it's only a commercial
Things are looking up, kids get in for free with a paying adult on monday also we have start girls for this meetin being provided by the venue indego red in eastbourne which is a exotic dance club
