Hold on, but on saturday we were on the verge of sacking him.
Tuesday we are backing down & loaning himout.
wednesday he representing us in the ELRC & back in the team for saturday.

WHAT THE f*** IS GOING ON.

I should think we are the laughing stock of the speedway world at the moment. Who the hell is actually running the club?

It appears that Scott is  still suffering from his fall in the GP last weekend.  Not sure how badly he is suffering though.

thank you sas . resting for saturday , has no more tuesday meetings in sweden . am a little concerned how he and lee will take the lewis situation but unlike him they are true professionals . at one stage they were considering splitting the  pairing with lewis , as it was no longer working .would seem a shame to split the other pairing , could lewis ride at 5 ? seems incredible that anyone doesn't want to , or cannot team ride with scott ..

I have  been looking around on various other sites and noticed that Scott seems to be taking a bit of a hammering.  Is this because he rides for Eastbourne?

Almost certainly ! All things Eastbourne are a target particularly on the BSF.  Nothing new I am afraid.  We just live with it.  Sad

I suspect its to do with money Baz, With an Elite league average that equates to about 10 in the PL what club could fit him in? so I presume if we suspended him the club would still then have to pay him + the salary of the replacement and his expenses... Cheapest option reinstate him. I responded earlier to a post by Emjay when he said Hagon should keep his mouth shut rather than air his dirty washing in public or words to that effect. Emjay you were right Exclamation  why according to the Argus did Hagon make those statements and then do a complete u turn makes the club look the farce its fast becoming. Rolling Eyes  Embarassed

What's new, it seems this season that we have been fair game for any moron. Without Scotty we would have been far worse off. He might not be doing well in  the GP's, but we cannot fault him at league level.  Smile Many fans I know found it hard to accept Scotty in place of Nicki, but we have all come to appreciate what Scotty has done for the Eagles. I would like to see him back in  the Eagles colours, averages permitting, for 2009.  At the moment he would be my rider of the year, with Lee pushing him very closely.  Wink

Just generally sniping at him.  Things like he is unreliable, he couldn't be arsed to turn up for the ELRC, he isn't very approachable when it comes to autographs, he shouldn't be in the GP's.  If he doesn't finish in the top 8 in the GP's he doesn't deserve a place, he's only in there because he is British.  Anything they can have a pop at him about they are.  Seems to me that there are a band of 'speedway supporters' who are only happy when they are having a go about someone, seems to be Scotts turn at the moment.

Lets not all moan about nicholls as he was not the only rider to pull out of the elrc. Richardson, pedersen, hans to name a few. Bspa said they cant make riders turn up to these meetings which begs the question why have these so called super 7 events.

I'm not moaning about Scott nor would I.  I was just saying that he seems to be taking flack from other sites and I don't understand why.  I can understand him cutting back on some of his commitments (Sweden) and not taking part in individual meetings if he isn't 100% fit so that he can put more into finding some form for the remaining GP's.  Afterall it is every sports persons aim to become top in their sport.  Scott needs points to enhance his chances of inclusion in next years GP's he can't assume automatic inclusion.

I would be only too happy to see him at Arlington again next year.

Brainless Speedway Fans , BSF  , come to think of it only the first word is right . having looked at the site there was no way i would join the vindictive crackpots . you can recognise them by their skinned knuckles from when they shuffle along dragging them on the ground . thank goodness for our site , no hitlers running it , intresting and varied opinions , no room for abuse from the slobbering idiots who have forgotten to take their medication . scott is a special man , and rider . he is the one constant light for eagles this season . the nearest to replacing our dearest martin dugard . it isn't lee and scott that are the problems , nor have caused the problems . must admit having had them ride against us for several teams over the years i felt uncertain . i am now , delighted and proud to support them . they are clearly as disappointed as us they way things have gone into meltdown and the reasons why . as much as i believe most of us would welcome them riding for us beyond this season , they must feel the same way as us .
