pleased to see formation of team , including r/r . we may well lose , evenly fairly heavily , especially with simon and nermark out , also lukas has problems riding that track [so do all riders who like to race on a proper surface ] . but there has been thought gone into this which is appreciated .

Following the critisism of your nickname for Trevor, I sense some desperate back pedalling going on there ray!!!
sounds as if what has been posted by some , riders only concerned about next season now , wherever they might be . on this form would any other team want anyone but simon
Right up till 5 o'clock I was umming and arring about whether to go or not.
Boy am I pleased that I let the prospect of the M25 convince me not to bother!!!
At the beginning of this thread I asked some questions.....
Well..... Davey didn't do much to convince us that the theory about him deliberately reducing his average ready for next year doesn't have some truth to it.
And as for the pathetic Kling.... I'm afraid he's proving himself to be even more pathetic than I originally thought. That's now 12 consecutive rides without beating an opponent. A complete and utter waste of an Eagles race suit. Surely he has now run out of chances and MUST be replaced for our last 2 home matches. Bring back James Brundle!!
Not a bad effort from Cameron.... one of his better away scores.
I guess we can excuse Lewis and Lukas to some degree after their heroics at Coventry gained us the points which might just about keep us off the bottom of the league.
And a big thankyou to Paul Hurry who almost single handedly saved us from complete humiliation..... and in the process hopefully convinced Bob and Trevor that the pathetic Kling should be shown the door.
Or maybe someone who was there (harryhagfors perhaps) will come on and tell me that I've got it all wrong again!!
NOTE TO TREVOR: If the next 2 meetings at Arlington are to be the last for a while can you please impress upon the riders that go out to represent The Eagles how important it is that we should finish with a bang and not a whimper.

who can put him into heat 13 ?! so replacing either watt or bridger . had hurry had his seven rides? full details might be of intrest but seemingly the match was already lost .
well we made the wrong choice and went!!! first of all i was amazed at the size of the crowd on a windy cold friday evening, ther must of between 1,500 and 2,000 which is amazing but they do promote well there!!As for the team,it says it all when a guest completely showed the rest of the team how to score points.
1- Davey Watt-terrible first half of the meeting, doing all his own work on his bike no mechanic, all on his own and didnt looked bothered.
3-L Bridger -Not really at the races but looked like he was trying
4-C Woodward- one of his better efforts and did well.
5-L Dryml- just does not like the place
6-P Hurry -Superb beating all the hammers except Nimo but only given 6 rides(im saying nothing!!!)
7-R Kling -now ive stuck up for Ricky in the past and he should know the lakeside track but after racing into the first turn and doing a couple of laps completely gave up in his races not racing for the other 2 laps.THIS IS NOT ON.Then to our amazement was given an extra ride in the hardest race of the night in heat 13.What were the management thinking of.If he tried in his races i could understand, but giving up after 2 laps and instead of being punished he gets an extra ride!!
TO CAP THE NIGHT OFF Trevor Geer was helping pack Joonas K stuff away as he must be staying with the Geer family!!!

What amazed me was the number of Eagle fans up there, cant say they are not supported. Believe it or not despite the wind an hour stuck on the M25 to an RTA roadworks coming home I quite enjoy the promotion the music is better in so much as its not only aimed at teenagers. It was just the score that disappoints me Unfortunately Christine Turnbull was the referee and some of her decisions are dodgy to say the least. Lewis clearly beat Robson on the line in heat 8 only for her to give it to Hammers man which amazed the home fans. You almost wonder if shes taking backhands course as BD wouldnt pass the odd brown envelope we seem to get araw deal from her Lets hope the last 2 home meetings are better the armchair critics get of there ****s and support the club in what maybe the last ever meetings. _________________ A Founder Member of the Home Straight Lukas Dryml Appreciation Society!
seem to have read these posts before , have---- about other matches . have to admire lakesides promotion and contact with the fans , even ours attend, good on you guys--real supporters . you , and all of us deserve better , arlington is so superior to lakeside , and although the location of the latter gives a larger number of people easier access than arlington , this is not the only reason the attendances are larger .
sincerely hope the moral and performances improve in the last two home matches , don't want to see the seven home defeats added to . in seventeen seasons we have never lost those many home matches . yet some of the displays at home , and occasionally away have been excellent . we all have certain and various thoughts why .
