Trevor has full time employment and so has Martin.

I do not know about Paul.

I would have been at this meeting despite everything but my other half has swine flu so I will give it a miss.  I normally sit with young children and it would not be fair to risk infecting them.

Sorry guys, don't want to offend, but I feel some of the comments reference Trevor are over the top.
Yes, IMO as team manager he's been found wanting.
As supporters it's right to criticize on team matters, but to comment on his other employment & him personally is not on. I happen to know he's one of the most genuine guys you could meet.

I agree with that he is well respected at R O K and liked by those who work with him.  He has also given a home to many overseas young speedway riders.

It is his ability as a team manager that is in doubt.

I agree, he doesnt appear to be the best speedway team manager by a country mile., He is however a very pleasant and approachable chap and in his personal life should be treated as such.

my post criticised him in his speedway employment only . have no idea about with ROK , but as they wanted to keep him full or part time they must be satisfied with him . i have referred to him as " ray's friend " as he is not working by himself . BD made a suprising choice to re-select him after the critism and lack of success last season . maybe there were no other options , but whatever he has again performed well below what was required . a square peg in a round hole . The vast majority of posts on here have been critical of Trevor as team manager but have pointed out at the same time that he is a great bloke in every other aspect.

I agree with mmmmethanol that personal attacks are out of order but I think you'll find that they have been few and far apart.

I agree. I have been incensed at the some of remarks,  Mad so I have refrained from  posting any comments. It has become personal with some people, and this is not the object of this site. I wonder how many of these "fans" would be able to run a speedway team. It is far more complicated than we realise. No promoters have come forward for 2010, so they will not be able to critisize next year. Exclamation  Exclamation

AUSSIE 2 -please tell me the comments that you are unhappy with regarding Trevor.what are the exact quotes you refer to? HE is the team manager, team managers get flak.In this day and age i am sick and tired of people coming onto forums with some high moral issue.Knowone has abused Trevor,we all want the same thing, and if i was in the same job i would expect to take the flak for the team under performing. This is the angryiest ive been on the forum as for the life of me i dont know what people have said to offend Trevor, people really need to think before they post that someone has been offensive to someone.

and who will be at least partially responsible if there is no speedway next year then ?! you don't have to be perfect when you see somebody or something that is substandard . else no one would have an opinion about anything .with you SPD

as I understood it Simon and Ricky, would  be available tonight providing their meeting took place last night. I am also led to believe Lukas is available as welL Line up R/R, McGowan, Watt, Woodward, Dryml, Kling, Gustafsson. eveyone can take an R/R ride
