Wolves v Eastbourne 6th July (Sky TV)

Anyone (apart from Trevor "head in the sand" Geer) think we've got even half a chance in this one?

Or will it be embarrassment in front of the Sky camaras?

If you base it on their current performance home or away then I would say it will be a win for Wolves probably by 10+ point difference, especially if you look at how the Wolves team is performing. No doubt the only ones that will put up a decent performance will be Lewis and Lukas, fully expect the remaining riders to score their usual low tally of points between them. I will watch the first few races to see how they get on but if its the usual poor performance I will certainly turn over!

Be interesting to see how well Skornicki and Klindt ride tonight  Evil or Very Mad

Yes it will be very interesting indeed! Especially if Adam's knee is ok now.....................

I don't really care how any of the Wolves riders perform tonight....

I'm far more interested in how the Eagles get on, and if they ALL ride to their full potential we should be capable of at least pushing them pretty close....

But how many times has that happened?

I'm pretty sure that come tomorrow we'll once again be praising the 1 or 2 who have done their job and laying into the 4 or 5 who haven't.

But I'm fully prepared to be pleasantly suprised  Wink

Don't expect anything from Lukas - last time he was awful, trying to hold a tight line on the bends losing speed and failing miserably.  The best line on the bends are mid to outside entering and coming out on the inside which Martin Dugard showed many times round  there as does Peter  Karlsson. But it may suit Lukas to ride fast mid track.

sounds good mally , hope for the best .

I think both you and mally180 got it almost spot on. Praise to the 4 and 1&5 disappointed, Mally180 got it right about Lukas lines. However, Ive seen worse meetings on Sky this season, just wonder what effect the lay off will have on say Simon and Cameron just as they are coming into some form.

The story of our season.....

Just as a couple of riders find some form a couple of others go off the boil.

Is there some unwritten rule that Eastbourne must have at least 2 riders performing like drains each meeting?

What the hell was Lewis up to?

He's had a great season so far, but last night he looked like it was the first time he'd ever sat on a speedway bike!!

And I think Trevor could have made much better use of the tactical rides as well. Pretty silly using them against Lindgren and Karlsson.

And while I''m on the subject.... how motivational was it to hear Trevor say when using the first tactical.... "I'll probably be able to use another one later on when we go 12 points down"!!!!

Stirring stuff Trevor!!!

But great to see Davey back to something like his best and Simon come good as the meeting progressed.

Overall not a bad performance.... but if only we could ride as whole team we could give anyone a real run for their money.

Another frustrating night in what has been a pretty frustrating season.

Classic... should guarantee him a team managers job anywhere should we not ride next season Laughing  Laughing  Laughing
Inactual fact didnt he imply that he was wasting it against Lingren but he could use the other when we go 12pts down. Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

as said prevoiusly , also by others --- nice guy ---- hopeless team manager . still getting over him getting klindt and skornicki for davey and lukas . if another team's manager had considered this  for two of their heatleaders we would have laughed , but not funny when it's ours .  Sad
