v peterborugh 23rd maylater posts on match at coventry last night are relevant to this .how many fit riders will there be tonite ? who are they ? who are the guests ? are the guests satisfactory and up to those eagles that they are replacing ? has management done a good job ? what on earth is happening about the russian who is desperately needed now ? is it all spin ? weather will be good , but whether we are going to be there , as others have posted already , depends on the above answers . injuries unfortunately occur , things go wrong , riders lose form , all these things do happen . what still doesnot seem to happen is team management and all that it entails . shades of mid-season last year . these problems have to be coped with in our sport ..

I have also looked at the hourly report on The Weather Channel and they forecast cloudy until 11pm then light rain so who do we believe Don't fancy wasted journey but the BBC would do us a favour

Ray, do you really expect to be kept up to date. I for one will not go if the promotion can not be arsed to let the fans know on injures or the team. Is Watt fully fit, i dont believe so cos he is a far better rider then what he has shown this week but on the other hand we will never know the truth. Bob has said he needs us there to brake even and i dont care about the discount vouchers and so on all i want is to be kept up to date with team affairs, Am i asking for to much?

like the "arsed " bit nug " yes you have a point , maybe i , and others , expect too much from the management . that fitness test in poland on davey appears not to have been as thorough as we hoped . all rather frustrating for all involved .one light hearted question , don't forget the pinch of salt , do oaps have to pretend not to be such and pay the discount £12 entry fee instead of the normal £ 13 ??
think that has been enough for this topic now . was gonna dye my hair and have botox treatment but the zimmer frame would give the game away .
so weather forecast is now dodgy , well that is not all . the riders are doing their best , though sometimes unwisely it would seem . that leaves us and the management . neither seem to think much of the other . that has got to change , but it is a two way thing . both have to consider the other's concerns . any chance of a truce , communication would be a good start .
maybe the supporters club could play a role in this , the comittee , especially jane , are well known to BD

well PB TEAM news zabik has walked out on the club due to family problems(mum not well) but no facility given so Andrew Tully rides in place.
No lewis bridger tonight(shoulder) as well so Travis m rides.

so some news of our walking wounded ? one we know for sure about is r/r and of course travis in for lewis , not too impressed with that , though remember last year janniro was a pleasant suprise . talking of which quite suprised no club in need of a replacement has thought of him . wouldn't have cost as much as nicholls or andersen and average would seem more reasonable
so must assume davey is fit to ride . but we have assumed that before and been wrong .
wonder if and when there will be something definate about the russian ?

Well those of you who did not bother to turn up missed a corker of a meeting. Peterborough must have thought they could plunder the three or even four points. Near heart attacks at times, but the riders gave their all to give us the three points. Once again the whole team rode with determination. So much for the doubters.

Really? I thought the racing was poor tonight bar a few heats. Plus with KC not there again there was very little atmosphere around (apart from when Lukas apeared ) Still we managed to get all 3 points with a pached up team so not alls bad Pity we couldn't of had an update from somebody about injuries, replacements etc.

Well which was it a corker or a poor meeting.? Unfortunately I couldnt attend but on paper and the updates it looks a good all round team performance. Just my luck to be atteding a very enjoyable wedding to come home and find out Lukas had clocked up one of his best home scores

A win is what was needed and a win is what we got but i wouldnt go as far as saying it was a corker. We very nearly blew it after the interval again. Why do we not try having the interval after heat 11 this will only give the away team only 4 heats to make a comeback. Last night the interval was after heat 9 which left them 6 races and we all new that they would lose heat 10 so that they could then use the tacital vs two of are so called weaker pairings, maybe if they didnt have 15mins so early on to think and discuss what options they had then they could of been forced into using the tacitcal maybe in heat 13 when watt is out. I am also worried now that other teams are strenthing with better riders that we may get caught short in the later heats when this big guns pair up. We dont seem to have an out and out number 1 and other teams look like having 3 outright number 1s in their team.

Although I agree not all races exciting but the atmosphere where we were (opposite Lukas following) was great. I even apologised to 4 people in front of as we were quite vocal. Turned out it was their 1st speedway meeting and they loved it said they would be back Great result well done to team effort.
Also wasn't it great to see Lukas acknowledging all fans - not just his own following...thats whats its all about great riding and showmanship

nug , sound thinking and tactics , suggest we all mention and suggest this to trevor in the pits prior to the meeting so we can get him into " gear " sure middlo , cook and pratt would have realised this already

Not the best meeting overall but a thrilling finish with the 5-1 in heat 15 securing the 3 points.
Got to admit that prior to the running of the heat I felt that the more likely result was a 5-1 against which would have lost us the match. I was really just hoping one of our guys would split the Panthers and give us the win.
But I do have to say.... following a disasterous week I really do think that the 3 point win was what the team owed us.
