Simon Gustafsson has agreed terms according to the official website so that makes three  Cool

If we keep him at reserve he will flourish, probably be one of the best reserves as well.

Glad to welcome Simon back in the Eagles team. Agree that it will be better if he starts at reserve, this will only be his second season in the Elite League, and if he develops as he should he could move up into the team proper. We need a strong reserve, and Simon proved towards the end of last season how much he had improved. Wink  Smile

Thank god Simon is back, I had a feeling a "bigger" club would have been after him seeing his potential.

simon out with broken collar-bone . very upsetting for him and all of us . wish him speedy recovery . how long will he be out ?top of the averages when the new ones come ino force , when will that be ? at least then we will be able to have a suitable guest , but nobody can replace our simon . must be the swedish lewis bridger . Sad

Just as a matter of interest doesnt a rider have to complete 6 home and 6 away meetings before his new average comes in? and with you Ray in wishing him a speedy recovery

thanks parker , yes you are right as usual , my friend .so hopefully schramm wll be available for next few  matches . still be exciting , best season for many . anyone attending must surely return for more . as posted , winning trophies would be nice , but just being there is fantastic . even promotion is making the necessary effort . hope this reaps the reward hoped for , then even more will done by them . thanks to everyone for this season , and look forward to simon's return .he , like lewis , hence my comment about these two, are natural and talented riders having much in common .as for denis --- i'm starting to believe anything is possible this season . Very Happy

I know many Eagles fans would like to wish Simon a speedy recovery from his injury, he is going to be missed. He does not blame Chis Holder who was the one who clipped him.  Sad The trouble is that as Simon has not yet ridden the required 6 home and 6 away to get his new average. Therefore we can only use our number 8 or a National League rider. All Eagles supporters wish Simon the best. All Eagles supporters are looking forward to your return. Wink
MD

Simon Gustafsson has become an ambassador for the leprosy foundation. He's now the public face of the organisation in Sweden, and has made audio and video recordings in an attempt to raise money for the charity.
