Rob Wofinden - sad news.Rob Woffinden, father of Tai, has terminal cancer, and apparently does not have much time left to him.
This has only recently become public knowledge, though obviously his family have known for quite a while.
Makes young Tais' exploits this year even more commendable, with that ghastly dark cloud constantly over him, full credit to him.
Puts things into perspective, does'nt it?

it certainly does kevin .only comfort is when the offspring pass away it is after their parents .thought goes to rob's wife too , to lose your life companion , especially a soulmate , must be such an awful experience . this could have happened to me , but now i treasure every day we spend together . but i feel sincerely for all in the family of rob .

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Tai and all his family. I know ALL speedway supporters will be thinking of them. My husband and I know what they must be going through. All we can say is that we will be praying for you all.

Best wishes to the Woffinden family.
I lost my dad to cancer earlier this year so I know what they are going through.

have been reading about this new " knife " treatment , which reaches tumours that were unreachable before . also there is news about oxygen helping to eradicate tumours . on the first of these not only ordinary people are getting results particularly on pancreatic cancer which it appears one of the most difficult to combat , but so is patrick swayze who was down to seven stone , looks so much better in recent pic . it was because of him that others reading about it have written letters in newspapers optimistically .
