Just because Joonas is out we must not take things for granted. After the defeat in the Knock-Out Cup, the Eagles will want revenge. I agree our reserves are probably better, but Ricky has to improve on his last outing their. Would be lovely to get three points, revenge would be sweet.

Yet another quality meeting from a team which just get better every week. Nice to see Lukas team riding tonight, seems like he really likes it here and I'm quickly warming to him Just a shame we can't get more promotion going, maybe our team should look at what Swindon are doing for thier sky fixture this week

A particularly heartening aspect is the improvement in Camerons' performance, he is a better rider than his points have indicated this season, tonight showed it, also a better show from Kling.
Well done all the team, good result

Good Night, better weather, crowd nearer to Bobs break even figure I would guess. Good all round team performance Lewis seemed to take awhile to get going ,Thought Trevor would have told Ricky that he had brought Gustafsson in for heat14 rather than let him go out and prepare his gate before being told. I thought Ricky rode well enough to stay out there anyway, but then in heat 15 what tactical genius to bring in Cameron when most had filled in their programmes with Lewis's name.
Dont forget on the Sky Meeting 1O Lucky programmes with a riders signature in it worth a £100 pounds each 
Tell you what is noticable at the recent home meetings theres not so many travelling away supporters, understandable I suppose.

naughty naughty kevin . anyway took my wife and we saw a great meeting . so £26 to BD , car park , but you are right kevin no programme or other extras . talking of which one former volunteer was telling me that though the volunteers no longer get the race card let alone a programme , after the meeting BD sets light to all the spare programmes in the old oil drum near the pits . maybe he had better reduce his printing costs and reduce the amount printed . yuk yuk ! well we played our part in this .
the atmosphere on the track and in the pits is as great as it used to be again . shame ricky sits quietly alone , so we had a chat , and almost a laugh with him .great evening nicely rounded off when beaky cook 's head was so low he almost tripped over his hooter --- actually does look similar to the eagle icon that is eastbourne .

What a wonderful meeting for all the fans. Never fill in Heat 15 until they announce the riders, as their could be surprises, as there was last night. I do not think any of us expected a 5-1 in this heat 15 against Shields and Richardson. We were all crossing our fingers that Davey would get 2 points. I have never seen Cam ride so well, and it must give him great confidence. So another three points, so much for us being wooden spoonists, know it is early in the season, but it must give the team so much confidence. Saw Ricky Kling sitting on his own, spoke to Floppy that Ricky seemed a bit lonely, he said not to worry he was concentrating. Both Lukas and Ricky seem to be getting to grips with the track. Revenge was very sweet, and Ray I did not bring the sugar lumps. Once again WELL DONE TO THE WHOLE TEAM.

I have to say when the racing is good ,and the wearher is good ,there isnt a better place to be then at arlington.just a foot note to the match i applaud lewis for going out after the match to get some laps in but it was clear he was annoyed with himself or the bike and took 2 falls at high speed,the second of which just left his bike and went back to the pits,so hope he is ok

If this does not bring the fans back then you know it is the recession not the speedway.
I visited some clients yesterday although not speedway fans who used to enjoy the good life. They can barely afford their food bill now let alone meals out or entertainment so it shows that people are really suffering.

I enjoyed the meeting, it had some good racing on a fantastic race track and I payed my money to get in even though my name was down at the pit gate .
A good gloat from Davey after the meeting as he came over to us packing up Adam's bikes and said "I had a great meeting, (Pointing at Adam he continued) I beat him 2-1 AND knocked him off!!!!"

Superb meet, really enjoyable.
Great to see the whole team picking up points through the card on a whole this season......
Knew it was going to be our night when Floppy roared home in heat 1 Would have been even more of a "hammering" if lewis had managed to stay on his bike in ht 3 when him and Cam had a 5-1 all but wrapped up....
Happy days and long may it continue!
