Lovely article above young Brandon in the supplement in today's Argus "Youth in Action". He is able to ride 500cc when he is 14. Hopefully he will be able to practice at Arlington, and I would think a future star. BD is quoted as saying "It would seem criminal if we carried on training these young riders, and they have to go elsewhere".

agree aussie2 . but we are told by BD that there are offers to promote eagles in a lower league . at this time he hopes eagles find a new promoter that will keep eagles in the elite and that new ideas may make the proposition attractive to a new promoter .but with the record unmatched for bringing through so many like brandon , this a a heritage so many of us sincerely hope continues . if elite it is , with fewer matches, the fans would surely attend and support a side in the national league also . surely no matter if there were two promotions . if no promoter for elite , or elite crumbles , surely national league instead . this is part of the tradition of the dugard dynasty.

I just wonder if reality is ever going to kick in with the EB management. Can they not see that running Saturdays against the GPs is never going to work. If they have had offers to run in a lower league, why do they not take one. Surely no one but a fool would be willing to run another year in the Elite. And there are not too many wealthy fools about.
