"Keep your assets high" says Mr BD to fellow promoAnother lecture from the Sage of Arlington. Will anyone heed his words? In particular will Coventry see the light and cough up a load of money for Kennett? I guess people are as likely to heed his words as they are to heed the words of Mr Mugabe - from whom Mr BD seems to have been taking lessons.

i was thinking him more like that fat fool brown . the one who has never made a mistake , his parents did though . amazing how they seem both arrogant and ignorant , and love more fairy tales than mandleson does .

and proud of it .trouble is after the best all else disappoint . my favourite now is vince cable . hey , we all beg to differ , BNP are even seeming a better bet than all the others . politics and religion , they unite us --- and divide us . have to try and put them out of discussions , unless we agree .

Anyway guys - to get back to the subject - what do we think of Mr BD's astounding idea of keeping speedway assets (ie riders) high when other assets (houses, businesses etc )are falling like leaves. Leaving aside his special interest in getting a higher than deserved price for Kennett, he is making himself a laughing stock again, and that is really sad. An asset's worth is what the market will pay for it - no more no less. Money seems to be pretty tight in speedway circles ( as in just about every other form of business and entertainment) so I cannot see Kennett fetching overmuch.

possibly he was thinking a reasonable price would help eagles stay afloat financially ? it is common practice with teams in most sports nowadays . silly to make enemies though , other riders have returned over the years , and in our sport more than others .
