| well at last common sense , many of us have already have posted to this effect . arrogant olsen will not be confronted on this by our feeble knee-jerking bspa . so we stand or we fall , top riders should be consulted and see which side of the fence they stand . matters cannot go on this way, or olsen will win [ what an unpleasant bully he is ]and british speedway will no longer have a truly elite league with elite riders . but it would cost everone involved in british speedway , including the fans , contribute more financially . sponsorship would need to be obtained more , and our sport made attractive enough to make them want to be involved . the idea that british promoters have to fund expenses of gp riders is not acceptable , sky too are not contributing their share either . so it has to be done this way , or there will no longer be elite british speedway .all other points raised by messrs cook and dugard are totally valid . how greatt to know how our promotion , and previous promtion think and feel at last . we are the paying customers , without these no business can survive . so let the ideas suggested be pursued . some riders like nicki can survive financially without british speedway , some like jason crump and hans anderson still manage to compete in speedway globally , but that cannot last . many of elite riders couldnot afford to cease earning over here . but basically it is about olsen and finances . |
