It seems like ages since the team took to the track, and they're back with a tough one!

But...

Have we got a 7 man team at last?
Is Daniel making his debut?
Does that mean Simon moving out of the reserve position?

And...

Can we achieve a positive result?

I think I'll have to go for a brave but fruitless 8 point defeat.

Cant help thinking that mangement cost us a point tonight. To have R/R  at 5 is just mad, why not put R/R in at 2,3,or 4 and have watt at 5. Just look at heat 13 tonight when schramm had lukas ride he was vs adams and zagar, hardly fair on the fella is it.

well one way or another the management won't be around much longer . amateur night at the london paladium as usual . see also supporters club thread , about lack of effort and consideration . Sad  Rolling Eyes have used the expression lions led by donkeys [ from 1st world war ], it hasn't changed . Shocked  Mad

Dead right nug.... but no big suprise.

We've known for ages that our management have very little imagination or tactical know-how.

It's pretty obvious that in our position, no.5 is the LAST position we should have operated R/R

Pretty obvious to everyone except Trevor that is!

Anyone know why Ricky was absent?
Is he riding at Arlington tomorrow?

RICKY was riding in Sweden last night for Ornarna in a div 1 play off match scoring 4 from 4.The management must have thought chris s could do a similar job to Ricky and let him ride in the play offs.In fairness Daniel Nermark should have also rode in  SWEDEN but his Swedish club let him ride for Eastbourne as they had a good replacement in a certain mr Lindback.

those two swedish teams are obviously organised and managed well . must be a comfort to the fans and riders  .nermark did well , if lewis and cam had been at the races, but everyone has bad nights and tracks they don't like , we could have done even better than last time . eagles have put up worthy performances at swindon both times .look forward to saturday , after about two months away . full team at last ,great Rolling Eyes

Mr. Lindback was not a replacement for Daniel Nermark, they usually both ride for Solkatterna. They used David Ruud  on Thursday in place of him. This was a quarter-final play off first leg in the Allsvenskan League, not Division one.
As for the comment about Cameron at Swindon on Thursday, you quite obviously didn t go to  the meeting, and made the wrong assumption just by looking at the scorechart.

Sorry harry, but for me Cameron has been a major disappointment this season and has not scored the points we could have expected in 90% of our meetings.

Im not saying that he aint putting the effort in but for whatever reason he just aint been good enough and if anything has gone backwards from last year.

After all... it is the scorechart that counts at the end of the meeting.

really like and admire cam , but his form has tended to become very patchy . even at home heat 14 is not his as it used to be . but even so we were closer at swindon with an incomplete team than at home to wolves two days later .

I would agree with you COUS he doesnt seem to come alive until heat 14 when the meetings almost over. Not picking on him but hes not been as good here at Arlington this year as he was last season.
