This week has been a good week for Eagles rider Lewis Bridger, as he passed his driving test, plus got himself a car.

Well done Lewis

Kevin, what do you mean by your last comment, if your implying that he may drink and drive which i feel you are then i think your being a bit harsh to be honest.

It was intended "tongue in cheek", hence the smileys Exclamation

there is always somebody getting upset about some one or something --- sometimes it is us , kevin . love that phrase " i used to be conceited , but now i am perfect ".sometimes we even get annoyed with those who are not annoyed by that which annoys us . phew , confuscious says etc. etc . some people cannot see others may have different opinions , this frequently happens to me . every time i watch the tv news or read a newspaper ! Smile but not always  Cool

If you could read last seasons posts kev you would see that im not part of the i love lewis society as you put it, i just thought that your comment with or without smileys was not needed. I want ALL  the riders to do well this season and im not gonna start knocking any of our riders 2 months before the season has started

Hope the season starts soon nug you seem to have the old january blues! I sure we all want to see the team do well & Kevins every bit as passionate as the rest of us about the Eagles, particularly as a life long follower of the Eagles. He said it was tongue in cheek whether he used the right smiley is another matter, but lets take it as that Wink  Wink

Agreed entirely.

We are all behind the 2009 Eagles and wish Lewis and the others all the best and an injury free season.

Roll on March.

Nug, if I used the wrong "smileys" then I'm sorry; it was not intended as a dig.

Like you, I have been critical of Lewis' "antics" over the past 12 months, a quick perusal of my posts over that time will show that, BUT also it will show a frustration that a potential for much better performances is there, but for whatever reason was not being realised.

In the last few meetings he showed what could be, and seemingly in last months meeting at Poole there were very promising signs.

Hopefully that will have cleared that up Exclamation  Very Happy  Laughing  Wink

Well done Lewis - max at Poole.

I've criticized Lewis (constructively!) in the past. He deserved it.

He's responded in the best possible way.
Hopefully now the sky's the limit.

I think most of us have criticized Lewis in the past because of his behaviour. Now we must forgive and forget. The way he can redeem himself is by doing what he has done in the last couple of meetings. We know he has a glittering career in front of him, and if he keeps on he will be a rider to watch. Congratulations Lewis on your first maximum. Very Happy  We hope the first of many. Keep up the good work Lewis, this is way to answer your critics. Wink  Wink

Yes brilliant result for Lewis.  Cool

We knew he could do it and that is what we found so frustrating last year.

Thats hit the nail on the head , we all knew what a talent he could become and we were disappointed when last season he looked like wasting that opportunity This season he looks more mature and certainly deserves the applause for his first Maximum.... lets go for the Hat trick over this weekend Wink

Great performance from Lewis.

Let's hope that this is the year when he starts to fulfil the potential that we've all known he's had since he first pulled on an Eagles race suit.
