So do I as I'll be there this time. Hoping for at least a point but this is a tough fixture.

Should do better than last time. We fell apart between heats 3 and 10 where they were totally outgated us. This time No Kylmakorpi(R/R). Last time he got 9+4. Surely Cam will do better and David has brushed off the cobwebs now.Remember how he has ridden this track in the past. The main worries though are Ricky and Lukas. If they can grab a few points each then we may be in with a chance of a point or 2.

we have to drive all the way there , pay the car park fee before anyone tells us it is off . seems ipswich and lakeside consider their fans more . i have wasted time and money too many times now to take further chances , and i am sure i am not alone in this . Sad

Having driven through a monsoon for 20 minutes I made it to the Ipswich carpark before anybody told me the meeting was off. Calling it off only 1\2 an hour before start time, when it was  quite obvious the track would be waterlogged, was not very thoughtful.   With the amount of rain that fell in Essex and Suffolk on Thursday night and Friday morning, it came as no surprise that Lakeside were able to call their meeting off at 3pm. Did that save you another wasted  trip Ray?

no harry , i get lost north of the thames . used to visit there when some of the family lived locally . but as we know it is infuriating when they call meetings off so late . so ippo getting our lot's bad habit . mind you i was one who didn't go for poole's visit , but we had other plans anyway.BD apparently did a wonderful job with the track . we all admire and respect that , but are sadly disappointed with his deficiencies as a promoter .had to add that last bit , firstly it is true , and secondly so parker won't think i have deserted him and the horde of others . Wink
as for kevin , not sure , let me know what you think your options are  Laughing  Laughing  Razz

I am not for beating Bob with a stick or paying Homage to him, but to keep going to the press with stories of possible closures doesnt in my mind set the right sort of image  in attracting more supporters, Joe Public must think that speedway cant be very exciting if few are attending. I know others have posted experiencies of his alledged bad manners but you can't fault him in trying to keep the Eagles a float just at times the manner he goes about it. And to get back on thread , great Lakeside made the obvious decision to call off the meeting early
