Parker already has us down as winning this one, judging from his comments following Saturdays defeat by Wolves..... (only teasing parker!!)....
I'll wait and see what sort of a team we've got before making my prediction.... but deep down inside I'm hoping it chucks it down and it's postponed until our wounded warriers are fit and well again.
What do the rest of you think?

be intresting to see who makes the decision on davey , and all of our injured riders as and when a decision has to be made :idea:fitness tests are used in professional sports , it makes sense

Its going to help that Dave is not riding in Sweden tonight so that would give him a fair few days rest before thursday, 5 full days infact and with good physio he could be fit......

A weather interuption would be helpful if theres a fitness doubt on any of the 6 riders . We have a good team of triers now, we had a good start to the season true a blip on Saturday, but I'm confident we can beat Ipswich, joking aside I dont disagree with kevin or Ray I just dont believe we should panic after one defeat that on the night we should have won, after all they had 6 riders and the use of a Tactical ride we had 5 riders only. _________________ A Founder Member of the Home Straight Lukas Dryml Appreciation Society!
so shall we start building our ark in hoping it pours with rain again ? hardly constructive but without a proper fitness tests what other suggestions does the management have ?! hopefully davey not riding in sweden tonite will give him a chance , but leaving such a vital matter to chance is hardly constructive either
so same team as monday , davey's fitness checked out in poland the argus tells us . he practiced and had no problems with his fitness or his bikes . be watching the updates later
Another post interval collapse! We were looking like taking at least a point being only 2 down after 10 heats but alas it seems RR once again is costing us. Im sure I remember reading that our promoter wouldn't let that happen again after last year. With Dave apparently our for most of June shouldn't we be looking for a 28 day covering rider? _________________ Check out my Pic's site. Click on WWW below...
Question to parker: Is it ok to start panicking yet or are you still expecting 2 wins this week?
So much for the positive reaction to Saturdays defeat by Wolves...
That looks like a really poor performance by us.
Only 3 heat wins all night... and we were hardly up against top class opposition.
Not one of our riders managed double figures and all were outscored by Ippo's doubling up Premier League reserve, Carl Wilkinson who managed 9 +3 ... despite falling in the reserves race!
Pretty hopeless really.... and I reckon at least 3 of the team need to buck themselves up pretty damn quick and start performing to the level that was expected of them.
What's happened to Cameron since his heroics against Swindon. He should be challenging for a heat leader role, but he looks more likely to be heading for one of the reserve positions.
Let's not forget that the team was put together based on strength in depth and that isn't what we're getting at the moment.
Mediocrity in depth... yes.... Strength in depth... no.
Just shows how much we were relying on Simon before his injury and his performances were papering over the cracks in the rest of the line-up.
And this time I don't even think we can blame the dreaded R/R... surely we should be able to expect Lewis, Cameron, Lukas + One to cover for Floppy.
But hang on a minute... perhaps we're "doing a Poole" and putting in deliberately poor performances so as to doctor the numbers and bring back Nicki (or maybe Scotty ) before the new averages come out!!!

If it's good enough for them....
Well Scott Nicholls practised at Ipswich after the meeting. It would be a shame if Eagles season fell away after such a good start.
Crowds might reduce especially as we are out of the cup as well.
I see from the Argus report that Davey is blaming last nights terrible result on one slightly dubious starting proceedure.
Such a relief to know that it had nothing to do with the poor riding and low scores from various members of the team!!
Also had to smile when I saw that he had accused the Ipswich staff of a lack of professionalism.
That's a bit rich following on from his decision that he was fit to ride against Wolves on Saturday which was made (according to Trevor Geer) without even sitting on the bike!!
