Looks like Ed has pulled out of the meeting at ipswich while guesting for the spanners with concussion after a couple of pointless rides.hope he is going to be ok.

Updates has him down for 3+1 from four, and with Ipo losing & looking likely too lose, could we catch 'em still?

Home win on Sat has us level on points. God knows how we get seperated if we do finish level on points. And with the 25th the cut off date & bad weather hitting....who knows?

The Ipswich site says they are thinking about arranging 2 matches on the 25th. We need to win our last two, they need to lose their remaining matches as currently they have a better for & against than us.

Perhaps we should do a double header (Coventry and Wolves) on the 20th?

Let's not miss a trick!!!!

Get well soon, Ed.

Having looked at the date the 25th is their race night (thursday). I'm sure they have a cut off time for their meetings to be over, so pushing two meetings on one night is going to be tricky Very Happy

So it seems that Eddie does not really want to leave on a permanent transfer just on loan & would like to go  to Coventry, yet is seem they can't fit him in. Peterborough can and have offered money (less then what we wanted) but Eddie does not want to go there. I wonder if there is a chance of him retracting his transfer request and riding for us otherwise I feel he won't have a team for 2009. Being that he is one of GB's best young talents I find this totally stupid if we want the sport over here to progress.

I dont think it has anythink to do with bridger why kennett  wants away, reading inbetween the lines i fell more like its hagon kennetts main sponser that wants him away from eastbourne. Hagon has obviously fallen out with bob with the lewis affair last season and the fact he wants to much rent for the national league team, i also read in the star that it was hagon who sorted out the move for richardson to the spanners

I reckon it was down to the ridiculous sum of money BD is paying Bridger next season.

I was not aware that what BD is paying Lewis had been published.  Confused So can you tell me where you got the information. Any deals that BD makes with the riders are their concerns and not ours. Exclamation

please let commonsense prevail , give the team what they need , the fans what they want --- now there is room to keep eddie with russian's 4 point assessment . no more prevaracating , sign him .who else could you find as a heatleader , we must have two , and where else can eddie go . as for terms , agree that is nobody's business except the one paying , and the one recieving . has to be coventry now , looking at the other teams , none would seem to be able to fit him in . as the price to be decided is so far apart between those concerned  it will probably have to be a loan agreement for 2009 . after that who knows where he will go . maybe he will get his way and only stay away next season  or another too then return . Idea  Idea  Cool
