From British Speedway Forum

Denis Gizatulin is a work permit rider who is not, nor has he been, a GP rider. Therefore he will be assessed at 4.00, the same way Pavlic is being assessed at 4.00

EDIT : He rode for Eagles away at Wolverhampton (27/08/07)

If this is correct we do have 8.05 left for our last rider.

Looks like the Russian may have no option but to honour his contract with us this time.

According to the Speedway Star today, Russian speedway is in turmoil following an attempted assassination attempt on one of their senior representative, which has left him with possible brain damage.

So, with the possibility of very limited racing in the former USSR, we may well benefit from someone elses tragedy.

yet if he was an immigrant he probably wouldn't have had to have the test , suppose if russia belonged to the EU it wouldnot have been relevant either , don't suppose jacqui smith could have got things wrong again . mustn't " labour " under a misapprehension  Rolling Eyes  Wink

Blimey, we haven't redeclared a team in about three years. now we have done it three times in one year & we haven't started the season yet.

Surprised nobody has commented on Saturday's front page story where it is revealed that Denis could be taking over from somebody in only 3 or 4 weeks.

After Ricky's display on Saturday I think this is less likely now ?

Hopefully this is just another of BDs' "announcements" Rolling Eyes , the team seems settled, posters have commented on a good team spirit, Dryml has settled and is getting in the points and Kling is picking up points, he had his best meeting so far the other night I think?

as usual BD "russian " into it . no thought , no consideration , is this his wake-up call , when all the team are already alert , or is him trying to be subtle  Shocked nah , he doesn't " do" subtle - every one knows that , so no harm done  Sad  Embarassed

There is a saying "If it is ain't broke, don't fix it. Shocked  We have a very happy winning team. Bringing in another rider, it does make sense, as the rider in question would have to learn the track. At least with the team we have at present, they all have ridden on the away tracks.  Rolling Eyes  Wink

Not saying I want him now, but does anybody know where he's riding and the sort of scores he's getting?
