Just seen Davey watt, the Dryml brothers and ken bjerre are in the GP qualifyers this SATURDAY!! What with two qualifyers taking place on the same day guests are in short supply, hope trevors been on the blower to get riders in as this meeting could become a sham if norris isnt fit as well Confused  Rolling Eyes

well call it off . i hear floppy will probably not riding anymore this season. who wants to see us with 3 riders out , who will attend ?
but those idiots at the bspa , no common sense , --- nothing in common with fans , and hardly riders, and certainly no sense of what is right and what is wrong .

Quite agree with you and 'SpeedyyoungDaniel'. but I bet the Muppetts in charge at the loonybin, sorry BSPA, will probably insist it goes ahead.

It won't matter that the public will be shortchanged by an under strength team; it won't matter that the attendance may be affected; the fact we might have to re-schedule a meeting could affect the end of season play-off schedule, and that might affect the rulers of British Speedway..............................,Sky!!! I dont see Davey Watt as a loss on his present form. Travis Macgowan would do me at least he appears to give his all.

Have to agree with Parker if we can get Travis in as a guest that would be great, however will we operate R/R for Floppy and Lukas? Would like to think that they will try and get another guest but expect they will probably go for R/R to save money. As Floppy is retiring for sure this time will they replace him? Lets hope the chase for the elusive Russian won't start up again.

can only operate r/r for one rider . floppy out for season it appears . we cannot afford to do what coventry , poole and swindon have done , get a replacement with an average of over seven points . see aces are talking to troy bachelor. so two guests at least . our opponents can have a top heatleader guesting for bjerre . with last night's result and three eagles short how many will give this so called meeting a miss . will be amazed if bspa do the right thing for once and re-stage it . the attendance will be the worst of the season , infact for many seasons . feel sorry for BD if it has to take place . all the more reason to get out of the so-called elite if we get another chance next season . Sad at least none of our riders will have overseas events taking precedence on saturdays , being a saturday team , it affects us regularly. Rolling Eyes  Confused  Mad

Unfortunately Travis McGown will not be able to ride on Saturday, under the EIGHT DAY RULE. So I hope thair ears burning trying to get replacements. Lewis will be our new number one, so whoever comes in  for Watt and Dryml will be on their new averages. Hopefully they cannot be as bad as some were last night. Exclamation

just edited my original post that Ales Dryml is away as well riding in one of the semi finals!!!!! Rolling Eyes Also the news doesnt get any better as i think the new averages come out before our home match ,so Davey Watt wouldnt be number 1 in the averages!! Also we meet the panthers away on Thursday so riders will not be advailable for that match as they are required for friday practice!!YOU JUST COULDNT MAKE THIS UP IF YOU TRIED!!! The impression I got was that theres no guarantee we would get straight in the PL.  Matt Ford in the Poole article in last weeks Star indicated they might consider a drop to the PL but "might" have to wait a couple of seasons for a place to become available. If there was a place and we wanted to drop you can bet your last pound we'd be the last to react  Wink

no guarantee we will still be runnung either , paul .trying to be optimistic ,but we can learn nothing from our website --- like what the team is likely to be , or even whether the bspa will insist it goes ahead .we're being treated like mushrooms again ! Sad  Mad

so did bspa [ Bloody Stupid Pratts Altogether ] rule this ? surely BD would have sought to re-arrange coz the attendance under these circumstances and still looking for guests will likely be an all time low , and lose BD further income . Shocked  Confused  Sad

Not a bad team after all - especially Adam he always seems to ride well round Arlington. Maybe should call the rain dance off now.
