It would make financial sense to have some British competitors and it might be the making of Ed, who has some talent and is a real racer like Gordon was.
I hope you are right
To me Kennet always looked like a rider in the Richardson mould. OK if he made the gate, but not a racer who could fight his way through. To be fair though, I have not seen either this year.

From a very good source i here the wildcards are................
H Andersen
F Lindgren
T Woffinden
E Kennett
I agree that the 1st two named deserve another shot, Tai should wait another year or so but Kennett should not be anywhere near the Gp circuit,
My source was wrong on one of the riders, not Kennett but the rider who finished 2nd bottom this year and has always needed the wildcard to get in, Hrris got the last wildcard spot
probably with cornish pasties , eaglesfan . seiously it shows what a low ebb english riders are . have we even got enough for a half decent international team ?
So we now know the wild cards for the 2010 GP's. I would imagine that if Harris does not finish in the top eight next year, then he will not come into contention as a wild card. I hope Tai does well, but he could find it hard. I am sure he will not disgrace himself, and he will be the first to admit that he has much to learn. His father must be so proud of him, coming so far in such a short time. I am positive all British fans will be behind him, figuratively speaking. _________________ Supporting the Eagles through the good times as well as the bad
